Yes! Upon selecting more than one location, cachoid does load balancing and in-browser failover. Each cachoid is assigned a CNAME in this format:
Where xyz is a cachoid-unique string that we allocate to your cachoid only. Choosing more than one location for your cachoid gets you a CNAME that resolves to more than one IP. Example:
# dig xyz.oomph.cachoid.com +short
The above IPs are for a Website with three cachoids in three separate regions. Client browsers receive all the above IPs and if one fails, the next is attempted.
